       Description


The main Lodge has been well designed with stunning solid celery top pine poles throughout, rendered walls combined with timber cathedral ceilings which certainly has the "WOW" factor especially with the sensational ocean views from the mainly glass walls on the north facing area.

The Lodge has four large double bedrooms, two large living areas, dining area, two bathrooms and a commercial size kitchen, which has two stainless steel gas stove and ovens and a wood heater which also heats the Lodge during the winter months.
There is also a large Saxon wood heater located in the large open plan living areas that heats the Lodge as well.
The main Lodge runs on a 240 volt off the grid solar system.
The main Lodge was built with quality in mind; there are Tasmanian Oak timber floors throughout the bottom floors.

The building is north facing and captures the winter sun which heats the house and captures the sun for the solar system.
The off grid solar system is a 3.5kw with two large banks of batteries so you never run out of power however there is also new a 6kw backup generator if required. The recent batteries were installed only 3 years ago and have many more years of life, usual battery bank life is 20 years however if they are regularly maintained last longer!

The living areas and front bedrooms also share the amazing ocean views, the two back bedrooms both share the lovely bush setting.

There is a massive wrap-around deck area for all year round entertaining which also shares the amazing ocean views, we often see the resident wedgetail eagles soaring above, yellowtail black cockatoos who also nest on the property bringing much joy and pleasure with their calls.

Situated on 75 acres of lovely bushland and is host to many Tasmanian wildlife such as wedgetail eagles, Tasmanian Devils and the amazing Blind Velvet Worm which are only found on the property, St Marys and surrounds and heaps more endangered species.

Both the Lodge and Chalets are fitted with quality whole house tank water filters which give safe, clear and filtered water, filters are easily changed once a year.

There are two fully enclosed vegetable gardens to keep the wildlife out and are very productive.

Located only a four minute drive from the quaint township of St Marys that has a 8 bed hospital, well respected school (Kinder to Year 12), 2 IGA supermarkets, post office, hardware, pharmacy, petrol station, cafes, golf course, library, a great country hotel and a very friendly community. Only a 15 minute drive to the most beautiful beaches in Tasmania, 35 minute drive from St Helens and the ever popular mountain bike tracks and the best seafood available.
