To BID on anything you need to be a little careful. 

YOU CANNOT RETRACT A BID.

To make a bid, you would normally be already at the description of the property and there you will see the current bid and the minimum you need to bid.

Once you are sure you would like to bid just HIT the 'submit bid' button within the property. (Your email address is never listed at envirorealestate.org.au - it is seen only by the seller if your bid is the highest bid.)
